My First Scrapboking Challenge as a Design Diva!

Good Morning! Thanks for stopping by! I posted my first challenge as a design diva today! As you know I am doing challenges over at Ch{all}enge Masters website. I am alternating months with my good friend Pat Bishop for the summer. It's exciting and was fun coming up with a challenge and layout! It challenged me as much as I hope my challenge will challenge others! I have to laugh about this layout as I had to wait for days for this daffodil to bloom! I didn't think it was ever going to open up! lol!
I hope you have a wonderful Sunday! I am going to scrap some today as I moved my scrapspace into the bedroom. I put my desk in front of the window so I can look out over the backyard and watch the birds. I am going to hang a hummingbird feeder on that window on Mother's Day!
My sister had a hummingbird feeder on my Mom's window the last days of her life here on earth and I felt that would remind me of her.

Sunny Saturday afternoon!

Hope you are all having a wonderful and relaxing Saturday !!! I have been moving my scrap space into one of the bedrooms and it is a lot of work! I put my desk in front of the window so I can look out onto the flower beds, watch the birds-and soon the hummingbird feeder will be right outside the window!

Tomorrow I will post my first challenge on Ch{all}enge Masters Blade Group. I am excited to see how it goes! Can't post the layout until tomorrow!

Here are 2 laylouts of the dear grandkids!

Well thanks for stopping by and come back real soon!

Run Jump Play

This is a layout I did for a class at 2 Peas on using a diecutting machine . This month you were to do a layout or card using a Slice which I did! This is my grandchildren playing outdoors on March 9, 2010-the weather was warm enough for spring jackets but we still had a foot of snow in the backyard!

Thanks for stopping by!

Scooter!!!!!

Good Friday Afternoon! Hope you are having a great TGIF!!!!
The sun is shining here even though there's snow on the ground....melting now!

Here's another cute layout of my grandson riding the scooter he got for Christmas! These photos were taken on March 9, 2010. It was warm enough-in the 60's that you only needed spring jackets but look at the foot of snow in my backyard!!! Too Funny!

This layout was for the Blade Challenge at Ch{all}enge Masters-the title had to be the same as the paper behind it. Thanks for stopping by!!!

New Layout!

Here's a new layout I did for the Color Challenge over at Ch{all}enge Masters-hope you like it! It is of my niece and the colors needed to be robins egg blue, sand, cloud and bark. I cut it all with my Sil! Thanks for looking!!!!

Bristol Update

Well the race was really a lot of fun! Had a really good time! The crowd was really great-I actually was surprised at how well behaved the fans were in the stands-no swearing or booing!
When we arrived at our hotel on Saurday we got a big surprise...here is what we saw
yep a hole in the ground! The company acts like it is our mistake!!! We found out that this hotel was torn down 7 months before they made and confirmed our reservation. We were lucky to find a room-and had to pay twice the price. They still are giving us a hard time about getting some of our money back!
I would advise you to not make a reservation with Super Eight!

Good Morning!

It's a beautiful sunny morning here! So energizing! I will be working outdoors today doing that spring clean-up thing and finishing the mess I started out there yesterday. No grandchildren until at least Tuesday. I will be going to my first NASCAR Race this weekennd at Bristol, Tennesse! So exciting!

Here is a page I did of Bobby and Papa tailgating in the driveway. It was a beautiful day-even though there was still a foot of snow in the backyard. Bobby wanted to eat lunch outside so we tailgated on the back of Papa's truck. This was taken 3/9/2010.

This is my first post on my new blog! I hope to post many more. I plan to write a little of what is going on in my life on a regular basis' and post my scrapbook pages for all to see.
