Cuppett's Covered Bridge

Good Sunday morning to everyone! I hope it is the beginning of a wonderful week for all of you! It will be for me! Today we will be celebrating Bobby's fourth birthday!
Here's a layout I did of an old covered bridge we went by in New Paris, PA last month. The history is in the journaling card. It was constructed in 1882 out of chestnut wood. As I have aged I have learned to appreciate old barns and covered bridges-I think they have so much character-just like me! LOL!!!

Thanks for looking, and have a wonderful week!

Scrapfest Weekend!!!

Last week I went to the Archiver's sponsored Scrapfest at the Mall of America in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Left on Thursday and returned Monday. The Scrapfest classes and Make & takes were ok but meeting the other ladies I talk with on Two Peas in a Bucket was the highlight of my trip! I got to meet my first Peas friend, and then 9 others who I talk with on the Calender Girls! We had a ball, and everyone was so nice!!!! Here's a photo we had taken of the ten of us in one of those old time photo places-

Thought you would all get a giggle out of these! Thanks for looking!

The Daily Grind Challenge

Here's my project for the Daily Grind Challenge for September at CM. It seemed like all we did all summer was find a way to stay cool outdoors so we saw these scenes over and over.

I used patterned paper by My Mind's Eye! Thanks for looking!

Fall is here!

Good Morning! I believe fall has arrived! The leaves are beginning to change, the temperatures are a little cooler-especially at night and early morning. The apples are ready for picking and the pumpkins are getting bigger. We were in Pa two weeks ago and the apple trees in the orchard were full of apples waiting to be picked. Yummy! We brought home apples and peaches. Everyone is wanting to do fall layouts so that is what I did for my sample for my challenge over at Challenge Master for the BladeMasters challenge Here it is:

This layout I did of the paper Maggie's teacher Mrs.Coffey filled out to nominate Maggie for Student of the Month last January! I am a little slow getting it scrapped but wanted to do it for her book.

Thanks for stopping by and taking a look!

Shaped Card Challenge

Here's a card I made for a challenge over at Two Peas in a Bucket! They had a crop and this is one of the challenges. I took an image of a witches hat and copied it, put the two together and welded the shapes into one, and folded it. Then added the embellishments. It's fun!

Thanks for looking!

HOW TIME FLIES!!!!

It has been a week since I have added anything here so I guess it is about time I did! I actually scrapped this first layout last weekend but never took the photo of it to upload it. It's the certificate Maggie received in January 2010 for being Student of the Month! I used some Sass, DCWV and American Crafts and digital images from the Silhouette.

This next one is a photo I love that I took at Cuyahoga Valley National Park last spring of Maggie that I just think is too cute-my opinion! I used all Imaginesce Lucy collection and some images from my Silhouette.

Thanks so much for looking and your comments are always welcome and appreciated!
