The Elf is Missing!!!!

As you can see the elf is missing! Yes Maggie was in a panic on Friday as the elf Merry Stinky never made it to their house yet! She just knew it was Aunt Kellie's fault! Why you ask? Aunt Kellie picked up Merry Stinky Thursday and carried her around the room! She was unaware that you DO NOT TOUCH THE ELF!!!! Maggie is sure that Merry Stinky will never be back!
Stay tuned for more!

The Return of the Elf!!!

The return of the Elf!!! Yes on Thanksgiving Day the elf returned to spend the season with Maggie & Bobby! We were in the middle of dinner when Maggie spied the little guy in the kitchen window! Then after dinner we got the computer and went to The Elf on the Shelf.com and Maggie & Bobby played the games and checked out all the new things on the site! What fun. Here are the first 2 pages of my Journal Your Christmas Journal. am so used to doing 12 x12 layouts tthat this one had to be a 2 pager but I will learn to condense-I promise! LOL!!!

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

My wish for you today is to spend a fabulous day with friends and family and to enjoy the special time you have with them. Please take time today to Count Your Blessings! Take some time to think about the special people who are no longer on this earth to spend time with, but remember the wonderful times you had with them.
I am going to start my Journal your Christmas and Gratitude journal today. This is my favorite holiday and I feel it is the perfect day top begin as a surprise visitor is coming for my grandchildren, and what better day to start writing about what I am thankful for.
Thanks for stopping and see you again soon!

A Thankful Heart is a Happy Heart

is the name of my Thankful Journal. I have only done the cover so far and will do the pages as I go about journaling what I am thankful for. I have never done a journal before and now I am working on two. I am also doing a journaling class Journal Your Christmas by Shimelle! I guess I have stories to tell! They are both going to be different. I will tell the stories of Christmas present and past in the Journal Your Christmas. I will try to count my blessings and write about what I am thankful for and why. I have challenged myself now!

A Walk in the Park

Good Morning World! This is a layout I did last night for the Recipe Challenge over at The Moments. The photo is one I took at Kendall Lake in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, when we took the grandchildren for a walk in the park. I love this photo so much, and I think the MME patterned paper is perfect to showcase it. The flowers are by Prima, and the letters and patterned paper that is matting the photo are BG. The recipe called for 1 piece cardstock, 2 patterned papers, and 3 flowers.

Thanks so much for looking!!!
