Buttons, Buttons & more Buttons

Here's a layout I have been wanting to do for a long time but finally got around to it. Last Fall we went to Dover, Ohio to see the Warther Museum. Mr. Warther made a living making knives which his family continue to make but he had a fabulous hobby which was carving. He carved trains from ebony and ivory and they actually had moving parts.  They are amazing but his wife also had a hobby. She collected buttons, she would sort them, and match them and then make designs and pictures with them....with each button being hand sewn on.  I am sure you will be as amazed as I was when you see these works of art.

Arbor Day 2016

August can not be here already!  Man did this summer go by fast! Finally was able to scrap a page as I was helping a friend with photos for a project of hers. I am so far behind but will get caught up eventually! The photos on this layout have other children in it whose faces and names ahave been blurred. Thanks for looking!

Birthday Cards

Here are two versions of birthday cards I made last might. I drew the floral designs onto rectangles on my Cameo. Then I colored them with watercolor markers.  Then layered them onto the blue card stock layer. I stamped the greeting with Distress Ink on Faded Jeans.  The lower version is not as straight as it could be.  Thanks for looking!

The Browns Fan

You will definitely enjoy this as it is about my good friend and neighbor and her Browns Room. I did not include in the journaling but she  painted the vertical blinds to match the striping on the Browns helmets.

A2 Card and envelope storage box

Hi and again I apologize for not posting for more then 2 months. I have had some health issues that I had to get over first and now trying to get my mojo back.  So today I went into the scraproom and made this box to keep my cards I make in and protect them from being damaged.  The pattern for this is by Lori Whitlock and I purchased from the Silhouette Studio  Store.  I made it to co-ordinate it with the color theme of my scraproom. I also like the included dividers.

Bobby's Birthday

Yes I am a little behind! Bobby's birthday was in September and I am just getting these scrapped.  I was inspired by a page on Pinterest where the background was made from strips of washi tape. I used scraps and my stash for this entire layout!  I love the colorful background.  I bought that Happy Birthday piece several years ago and thought it worked perfectly with this page!

Halloween Tradition

Finally a layout! Maggie painting the store front window at Halloween.
She came in third overall after all the judging. All products from my stash- mostly scraps!

My favorite photo is the one looking thru the window as she paints!
