New layouts !

Happy Saturday to everyone! Hope you are all having a great weekend! Here are 2 more layouts I have posted for different challenges.
This first one was very difficult for me as I usually use a lot of color. This was a challenge for The Summer Lovin' Contest at Challenge Masters. It had to be all white or black with the only color being embellishments etc not cut from paper or cardstock. Whew!

This layout I just posted for a challenge at Sketches in Thyme-here's a link to their blog- You are to do your intrepretation of the sketch they have posted there for the week. Here's mine-Bobby playing video games at the age of three!

Thanks for looking!

Here's a layout I did over the weekend and I wasn't sure it was the way I wanted it to be. It's called Princess in Training????

I just had to scrap this one for my grandson to have when he is older. This was taken at his sister's princess birthday party and he wanted to be dressed as a princess also! That's how you are at three!
Have a great day!

A fun layout for a fun challenge!!!!

For this weeks challenge for the Summer Lovin Contest over at Ch{all}enge Masters you were to make your own sketch, and then do a layout to go with it! That Pat sure likes to challenge our brains!!! Well here are the sketch and the layout I did for that fun contest-

Then for bonus extra points you needed to make a card from your scraps-I really didn't have many but here's what I came up with!

We have a lot of fun over there-the challenges are really not that hard-just make you use your brains and step outside of your regular box!!! Thanks for looking!

Hope everyone had a great weekend! It has been so hot here I have been staying indoors and scrapping. Here are 2 layouts I finished over the weekend-the first one was for a scraplift challenge over at Ch{all}enge Masters.

The second one I did just for the fun of it-it's photos of Bobby learning to pump his legs to make the swing go by himself! Too fun!

I use it for embellishments, journaling spots, borders-
everything you can think of to put on a scrapbooking page!

Gifts from Mother Nature

Here's a layout I did for a Calender Girls challenge to use 3 different fonts on one layout! I sketched the vine and then placed one next to it so the sketched one works as a shadow. This is a photo I got with my new camera of a butterfly on my lilacs. Thanks for looking!

We are going to be watching the fireworks display from our backyard tonight. The country club up the road does the display every year and it is beautiful from our yard! The grandchildren love it! Tomorrow we are having a cook-out here also. The girls are bringing the food and we are supplying the grill and paper products-maybe some beverages also!

Hope evryone has a safe and happy holiday weekend!!!!
