A story I wanted to document for my grandson when he is forty!
The journaling reads:
You went to school one day this week with a loose tooth.
You pulled it while you were there and they gave you a
little yellow treasure chest to keep it in so you would
not lose it. You were excited to show it to me when
you got off the bus. That night when your dad went
to tuck you in he handed you your tooth to tuck
under your pillow. You told him you did not want
to put it under your pillow for the tooth fairy!
You said you wanted to save for a time when
you needed it. I do not think I have ever
heard of anyone saying this before. You
are always thinking about things before
you do them but this one surprised
everyone! October 11, 2014

Bobby loved his Where Waldo card! He took less then 3 minutes to find him!
Products used are by Jana Morton, Erica Zwart, and the image of Waldo
is from the internet.
When I got my bike I had to learn how to ride it let alone ride a four mile trip! August 18 I made it the four miles. This photo was taken when I made the first two miles.
The journaling reads:
When I got my bike I had to learn to ride all over as I had never before used
hand brakes and gears. Also my body is so out of shape that riding any
distance was really challenging my body. We have only rode the bike trail
a couple of times but this time I made the two miles to Boston Mills Road,
and the two miles back. Hipp hipp hooray!!!!
Products are by Jana Morton and Katie Pertiet. thanks for looking!
This is where we hiked this week! Ledges is the name of the park and you will see why in these photos! This is our fourth hike so we are half way there!

Is was I saw when we hiked this trail at Hampton Hills Metro Park. All this from the bad storms we had last Spring here-All these trees were damaged and had to be destroyed and the Adam Trail had to be closed. The trail we were hiking ran along side a lot of the Adam Trail so we saw all the damage.
I did this for my Week One class of Title Time over at Creative Passions Classes with Jana Morton. Products used were Textured Edges by Jana Morton and Outdoor Adventures by Erica Zwart. Thanks for stopping!

The page is about a quiet serene place on property we own in SE Ohio. I loved the way the light was peeking through the leaves and branches of the trees. My favorite part of the page is where I took two of the trees in the photo and transferred them to Black & White and then used the smudge stick filter and reduced the opacity to get the look of added texture to the page. It also added to and worked with the colors Anna had used in her kit. My favorite items in the kit were the transfers and brushes. I enjoy using those items to add to the back ground papers where I want them put. This page was also done for this month’s Digital U at Creative Passions. Anna Aspnes was the guest. Digital U is a free class at Creative Passions Classes and is done once a month at no charge. Layouts and techniques are discussed and there is a chat line where all participants get to chat with the speakers and one another.

When my 10 year old grand-daughter came home from vacation she let me know that she wanted to make a multi-media memory board like I did three years ago. I helped her with supplying the know how, and products but she did her own design, painting, choosing the elements and photos and how the title work. I am so proud of her and all the work she did on this project. We have been working on the days she is here for the past week.
Good job Maggie! Thanks for looking!

I have done Spring layouts of the marsh before where all you see is cattails and water. We walked there Thursday and we saw lily pads, and herons . We saw a muskrat also but he got under the water before I could catch his photo.
I thought I would have some fun and post the other layout I did of the Beaver Marsh.
The photo in the large layout where the geese are landing is the same place as the upper right photo in the new layout. Thanks for looking!

Bob and I went out fishing yesterday with friends on there pontoon boat to a near by lake. Fishing was not too plentiful but by trolling around the lake we came to several bridges. Under the bridges were these nest built by cliff swallows. Then nests are made with mud and as you can see the babies are peeking out. They will build their nests under bridges and on the sides of cliffs there by their name. Barn swallows do the same thing on the eaves of barns.
Thanks for looking!
Products are by Erica Zwart. Photo of the cliff swallow from the internet .

is what I titled my first layout for Lesson Three of the Inspired Images class I am taking with Jana Morton over at Creative Passions Classes. This week we worked with more filters-the Find Edges under Stylized filters and contours and also on my page I used the poster edges under the artistic filter gallery. I only used one product on the entire page which was the overlay edges.
I like the way the filters bring out the textures in your photos. Thanks for looking!
The overlay is by Jana Morton and included in her Millie’s Cottage Collection.

The male Herons come back every spring to this same area in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park near our home. They start building the nests, and the females return about two weeks later. They then lay their eggs and both parents incubate them. By Mother's Day the babies have hatched and you will be able to see them in the nests from the ground. They will have left the nests by the Fourth of July.
The frames and label are by Katie Pertiet. Thanks for looking
