Super Blue Blood Moon

This eclipse occurred January 31,2018. These are screen shots I took from tv since our sky was so clouded you could not see it from here.  the last one was 150 years ago and the next one will not be here for 19 years.

Spring

I am so ready for spring I had to do this page for a little touch of it when we got 4 inches of snow this morning.

Products by K. Pertiet, J Morton, Lynng.

Landing Strip

Landing Strip is what the geese remind me of when they are landing in a body of water.  This is for Day 3 of the 28-4-28 challenges over at 2 Peas Refugees.

Most elements were by Paper House,  Stickers are by Jolee. Thanks so much for  looking!

Happiness is Retirement Day!

Here's a layout I did about my neighbor on her retirement day. She was so excited and made the entire day special!

Most of the elements are by Katie Pertiet but are from my stash.

Made With Love

This is to share what my DD and her fammily gave me for Christmas 2017! It has all my family's names inside that heart shape. I just love it.

I made this from my stash from about 7 years ago and I believe it is by DCWV. Thanks for looking.

Chores

My  dear grandson wanted to earn some money so we told him we could give him chores to fo to earn it.So he and Papa went out and Papa taught him how to prune the bush.  All my products were from my stash and I added some hand stitching.

How to Workout Your Layout in Silhouette Design Section

22 in a Row

This is part of the celebration after the Cleveland Indians broke the consecutive wins record for the American League set in 1935. There is only one more record for the National league set in 1926 but there is controversy since one game was a tie. Most elements used on this layout are unavailable but remain in my stash. I used two fonts-lobster, and impact. I extracted the lower photo. These two photos were from the Cleveland Indians website and the framed one was taken by Brittney Zivcsak/MLB Photos)and the extracted one was taken by Alex Trautwig/MLB Photos)

Believe it or not I finally got this layout posted! Only took me a few weeks.  These are the cute Guitars that are displayed on the sidewalk in Mayberry.  I thought they were such a nice touch.

I know you are all giving up on me and can't say I blame you.  But here's a page I did after a trip to visit my brother in N.C.

Thanks for looking

Have not been here for a while as I have not scrapped for a while but today got two layouts finished. First is a digital layout of a baby bird I found in the tree-first time out of the nest.

Products used are by Katie Pertiet, Jana Morgan and Sahlin Studios. Thanks for looking!

Here's the second one. It is about Bobby's crossover from Cub Scout Webelo to Boy Scouts.

Psaper is by DCWV , card and arrow of light from Pinterest

Mom Prom 2017

Hi everyone! Well its that time of the year again! Proms, proms and Mom Proms! The cultural Center here throws 2 dances a year for the kids,  the Daddy Daughter Dance in February and the Mom Prom in early May. So this is the dancing duo Becky and Bobby.   I used all products from my stash and most of it is MME.

I made this tag quite a while ago and have saved till I had a layout where it would look good and thought this one filled the bill. Thanks for looking!

I have not been able to post anything but I have been working on a few things. The latest is a technique I saw on Jennifer McGuire's site  I am doing ok but want to have more then on flower on my card or layout. Here is a sample of what I am playing with. You are actually stamping with Versamark and Precious Pearls. Also need layered stamps. Here's the link for the video:

Maggie's Birthday

I can't believe she is 13! Time has really flown by since she was born! I used  Sweet Day by Echo Park which is about 2years old.

Thanks for looking!

Just for You

Here's the birthday card I made for my DGD's birthday.  I mostly used scraps and older tools like my Spellbinders circle dies and scalloped circle dies and a Cuttlebug embossing folder. Also used  Distress inks in Victorian Velvet, Broken china and Scattered Straw.

Feature Layout of the day

I was so excited as I was reading my daily email from Scrapbook.com and saw my layout  Sweet was one of the Featured Layouts of the day! That will encourage you to do more for sure! It is really nice to see that from time to time! They are chosen by the number of times a layout is liked by other members of Scrapbook.com.

Sweet

A page about my "Sweet" niece.  All products are from my stash.  It was fun making this page up with all the circles and hearts!

Butterfly Flip Swing card

Here's another card I made. The design is from the Silhouette Design store. A C cardstock, and the pp is from my stash. I bought that paper when I first started scrapping so it is 7 years old. Thanks for looking!

Valentine Cards

I stole some scrapping time today and made Valentines for my DGC! I so enjoyed doing it too! Yep Mojo is back.

I used a design from the Silhouette Design store called an A2 X-card. Paper and card stock by  American crafts and MME.  The owl card is for Maggie and the heart for Bobby!

You're Awesome!

I was inspired by Jennifer McGuire's video on making ombre backgrounds.  I will be making more of these for sure. It also had ink resist using heat embossing. I used a blending tool to ink the paper and then using a brush to blend toward the softer top.
