I did get some scrapping done last evening. Ever
wonder what to do with those cards you received for Christmas? You don't
really want to discard them-especially the handmade ones. So I started
scrapping a pocket page every year that holds the cards we received for
that year. I first extended a bracket shape in length and add a perforated line to make it easier to fold. I add an extender on each side to add the depth needed to
hold the card. I add this page to the special Christmas album.
I was flattered to know that some of
you will be lifting the Sympathy cards I made! That is what it is all
about-sharing the inspiration.
Thanks for stopping by and allowing me to share my creations with you.

Sympathy Cards
Unfortunately I had to make two Sympathy Cards over the weekend. Both cards were from inspiration I found on Pinterest.
The first card I made in all white and embossed the background using the Cuttle Bug branch embossing folder and layered the background with a silver pearl paper. I echoed the layering int the sentiment using Spellbinders scalloped oval nested dies.
The second card I made in yellow and white layering the background and using a Stampin Up border embossing folder then echoed the layering inside the embossed border. I used a floral stamped image and added the Spellbinder Butterfly and a punched butterfly. I used Distress Ink in Scattered Straw to stamp the image.
The font I used on both cards was Lavanderia, which is a free font but to find it you have to do a search for it as it is available at several places.
I hope by adding more information to my blog posts it will be more helpful to you. If there is anything else I can add as we go along please let me know by adding it to the comments. Thanks for stopping by and I hope to be more active then I have been oin the recent past.
