DT Call out at Scrapping The Moments

There is a DT call out for those interested in joining the design team at Scrapping the Moments.

Here are the specifics:
You will have until June 20th to e-mail me 3 of your pages that you like the most, or a link to your blog or gallery where I can see your work.. I would like you to tell me why you would like to be on the moments DT. You do have to be a member of this board, be active on the boards & in the gallery. If you can't make that commitment please do not apply. The term will run from July 1st to December 31st. You will be expected to post one challenge once a month with a sample page included.

You are so beautiful is what I titled this page! Maggie has a new do and I wanted everyone to see how pretty she looks! She is so excited to have a new haircut! As you can see I think she looks very satisfied!

Learning to Celebrate Memorial Day

Is what I titled my page for the Recipe Challenges at Scrapping the Moments this month. Harris Elementery School had their own Memorial Day parade, as they learned why we celebrate Memorial Day! The children in Maggie's class also made their Patriot hats. Please remember tomorrow to take a moment to honor all those who have given up their lives for our freedoms!

One Little Word Challenge

over at Scrapping The Moments this month the word is day! So what more important day this month for us then Bobby's Preschool Graduation Day! He had a good time learning and getting to know the other children this year!

Finally get to scrap!

I finally got to scrap after worlking outdoors with the good weather! Believe it or not the lettuce I planted Friday is already coming up! A little sunshine, a little warmth and a little rain and see what can happen!

This is a page about Becky & Bobby's big date for the Mom Prom held at the Quirk Cultural Center. They had a really good time, dancing, snacking! They looked so cute together!

Ahhh The Heritage Challenge!

There are numerous challenges as you know over at Scrapping the Moments, and the new ones were posted yesterday. Believe it or not the relic here has decided to post a layout I did for the Heritage challenge. A photo of me in my junior year of high school! Yes I have humbled myself enough to do this! LOL! Have fun looking!

The journaling reads: Believe it or not when I went to school I was that quiet kid who only answered when I was sure of the right answer. I was not involved in extra-curricular activities as I usually babysitting after school. I did attend the football games in high school, but that was about it.

This is the proud Grandma bragging about her grandaughter again! Maggie earned this medal for reading 400 lines in school so far this year! She does love reading and does a great job at sounding out the words she doesn't know! I am so proud of her!

Easter Egg Art

I have done several Easter Egg coloring pages recently but this is a special one for Maggie's book. She loves arts and crafts, and draws more then she plays with dolls. She did a fabulous job with her eggs, and so did Bobby-his layout is in progress! I love these photos, and try to save these memeories for them.

National Scrapbooking Day!

WooHoo! Have to scrap today! And I did! I scrapped 3 layouts today, but I am only posting two since I just finished the third, and do not like photographing them at night. This first one is a photo of Bob & I in December 2009.



This second one Is a lot of fun! The photos are from last summer and the joiurnaling tells the story!

The Journaling reads: Last year on the Fourth of July you were playing in Gramma's backyard. Maggie wanted Bobby to pull her up the slide with her jump rope, and he agreed. When she got to the top he let go and she slid down-she was not very happy but Bobby was according to the grin on his face!

So Sweet and Together, Family ,Good times!

Here are two more layouts I have done -So Sweet is Maggie at about 2 years of age and we had been baking cookies together-I think she liked them!

This is the two grands working hard coloring those Easter Eggs. They had such a good time together doing this!
